The PfleMeO program supports care facilities in designing their goal as a "mentally encouraging organization" and in finding their own way there. Together and through Blumberry GmbH - Agentur für Kommunikation we were allowed to take over the design and implement the project website. The testing of the PfleMeO concept is carried out by the IGES Institute in cooperation with the Hans Weinberger Academy and the Institute for Social Research and Social Economy. The client is the Association of Private Health Insurance Companies. (PKV)
The basic idea of the PfleMeO program is to identify and promote activities for each resident that connect to habits, preferences or special wishes and are therefore of individual importance to them by strengthening person-centeredness. The PfleMeO program was developed based on scientific literature, experience with similar programs, and feedback from nursing and care staff. In 2023, the program will be tested in practice. Care facilities will be accompanied by specially qualified advisors.
